Missions

Roanoke Christian Camp is nestled on the banks of the Roanoke River in Little Washington, NC. The camp has brought many people to Christ throughout the years and continues to grow, impacting countless lives through worship, fellowship, and recreation. With a commitment to providing a welcoming, Christ-centered space, the camp remains a place where young people grow in faith, build lifelong friendships, and develop a deeper relationship with Jesus.

BC first met Roye in 1990 on a mission trip to Jamaica with CEI.  They were so impressed with his dedication and accomplishments in Jamaica, they decided BC would continue to support his ministry.  In addition to preaching, Roye also serves on the Churches of Christ board, directs church camps and hosts a local radio program, serves in medical and leadership clinics with CEI, and has founded an after-school program.  Please continue to pray for Roye and Howard Park Way Church of Christ.

The word “Pioneer” reflects our commitment to translating the Bible and planting churches among the world’s least-reached people groups — those who are marginalized, those who live in hard-to-access places, and those who are Deaf.   The Brollier family is working in West Africa translating for a group of 600k+ that have no written language let alone a Bible.  They are creating a literacy program for the group as well as translating the Bible into their language.
